There is a lot of information, and a few requests ...please read to the end.

Apparel Order

Good news!  The apparel order has been submitted, and there is no ‘out-of-pocket’ cost for players.  The BLC is able to pay the full cost of apparel this season, from booster club fees and fundraising.  At the beginning of the season, a $40/player cost was expected. However, as the budget was finalized, this was not necessary.  Thanks to Tim Morris for coordinating the apparel order, and for partnering with the team captains and Brian Peloquin.  Tim collected size information from the players while at the BSM game last weekend and submitted the order on Monday.  They are hoping for a delivery in time for the Schwans Cup tournament.

Posters – available before the Christmas

The team poster will be available on Wednesday, 12/23.  Contact Patty or Tim to make arrangements, IF you would like yours before Christmas.  Otherwise, we will hand them out, at the tournament games on Monday, 12/28 (and every game after that until they are gone!)

Again – no ‘out-of-pocket’ cost; one per player (cost is included in the booster club fee).

Booster Club Fee - $250/rostered player via Program book ad sales or player payment

Thank you to everyone that has taken care of this already.  If your player had a balance outstanding as of December 3, you received a reminder.  This would also include outstanding invoices for Ad Sales.  Please keep in mind; collection for advertisements is ultimately the player’s responsibility.  Denise has submitted invoices, but in the event collection is not made, the player is responsible for that amount.

If your player currently has an outstanding balance (not including ad sales), please submit this amount to Denise Studer, and contact her to make arrangements or advise when payment can be expected.  Unsure if you have an outstanding balance?  Contact Denise    Thanks in advance.

Pancake Breakfast & Silent Auction - January 23 (changed from Jan. 16) at Moe’s in MV

Help is needed to plan the pancake breakfast and silent auction.  Last year, this fundraiser made close to $3000!  Many volunteers participated to make that happen…let’s do it again this year!

At a high level, we need folks in the areas of:

Ticket distribution:  printing, distribution, collection, tracking

Auction:  overall coordination, item donation, item presentation (baskets), monitoring the auction during the pancake breakfast, distributing items to winners, and collecting money

Communication/Advertise:  communicate to schools and within the community

Misc. duties as assigned on January 23.

Team Display Case - Super Rink #4

Check it out at our home game on Friday!  Many thanks to Heidi Nundahl (and any other elves that helped her) for working at all hours of the day/night to get this ready for the season!

We are often asked for BLC member contact information.  I would like to send out one Excel file, to current BLC members, that includes names, phone numbers and email addresses.  If you’d like to be excluded, please reply to Patty by Monday, 12/21.

BLC meetings

Please attend if you are able, a great way to get involved with the booster club….we’d love your support and to hear your ideas to make this a memorable, positive experience for your players.  This booster club has been  only sustainable by the fine parents we have contributing.

Next meeting is Monday, December 21 at Random Park in Mounds View;  and 1^st and 3^rd Mondays for the rest of the season.

BLC board members – last season for some….

At the end of this season, the positions of President and Treasurer will be open on the BLC board.  Please consider volunteering for one of these positions, or nominating someone (seriously!)… may include a current 2^nd year Bantam parent.   We’d be happy to discuss what is involved, and how to make this a smooth transition.
