Morning All –

WOW!  HATSOFF! TAKE A BOW!

Where do I start – the Pancake Breakfast was a huge success! I want to thank the players, coaches and parents for the most successful Pancake Breakfast ever held at Applebees. We brought in $2033 after expenses on Saturday. We do have a couple of minor expenses remaining and a couple of players need to turn in money so we will net over $2000. After being told that Applebees would NEVER run out of food – they did. I want to thank the people that ran to Cub for more food and supplies. The restaurant Manager Cory told me she has never seen a crowd like we had – on more than one occasion she told me how impressed she was with the players and got all the boys together at the end and told them. She said the KNIGHTS HOCKEY group was polite, hardworking, fun and are always welcome back. To the best of our ability to track KNIGHTS HOCKEY SUPPORTERS we served over 300 people. I ‘m sorry that the players, coaches and parent volunteers never had a chance to eat, that wasn’t the plan. With all the hard work that went in to Saturday’s breakfast many of you told me how much fun it was working together. I will give special Thanks to JOHN EIDE who washed dishes – (it brought back old memories). Our new jerseys were also well received – many of our guests commented on how much they liked them. Again, THANK YOU everyone and please let your player know what kind of great job they did. We’ll do it again in January and those of you who didn’t volunteer at this one will have the opportunity to help us out at Moe’s.

PS. – In case you were wondering – yours truly sold the most tickets – 59 and I also received $60 in donations from people who just wanted me to go away. The $25 prize was donated back to the Blue Line Club.
