Morning All –

TRIP NORTH ---

First of all I would like to thank all the parents for making the trip to Virginia/Eveleth, we had great support for our teams. Even though the bus was too small for all the equipment and then the bus broke down we got the teams there (barely) on time. I would also like to thank Dawn Stimmler for handling refreshments on the bus, Kathy Jereczek for handling the financial affairs and Pauline Batcha for all her help at the hotel and coordinating the team meal. If nothing else the games we saw were exciting. The Varsity came up short 3-2 against Virginia and a 4-3 Overtime loss to Eveleth. The JV skated hard against Virginia coming up a little short in a 3-2 loss. The JV and Max Nundahl (shut out) had a great win against Eveleth 7-0. We have great group of young men on the team, which was evident throughout the trip. Even though we didn’t have as much success as we had planned I hope all the players had a memorable experience.

IT WILL BE A TOUGH ONE TOMORROW KNIGHT –

The KNIGHTS take on benilde tomorrow KNIGHT at the Super Rink. The JV will go at 5:30 and Varsity at 7:30. Get there early and stay late to support our KNIGHTS. For those of you who volunteered to work tomorrow KNIGHT – Thanks

TEAM POSTER –

We received the first proof of our team poster yesterday and once again it looks great. We’re hoping to have them available to everyone by the end of the week.

TEAM APPAREL –

The team apparel should be ready today – we’ll get it delivered to the team ASAP and we’ll get the apparel to handed out to the parents at the game tomorrow KNIGHT.

PANCAKE BREAKFAST ------ SILENT AUCTION

Please get your tickets sold for our Pancake Breakfast and Silent Auction scheduled for January 19^th at Moe’s in Mounds View. Each family is responsible to sell 5 tickets and if your money is turned in this week you can get the team poster for $15, a savings of $20. If you have something that you can donate to our auction please let Judy Marchiafava or Deb Kordiak know. We have some great things already and any help you can provide will make this fundraiser the best yet. If you need additional tickets please see Kathy Jereczek.

IT’S CRUNCH TIME –

This is the most expensive time of year for the Blue Line Club – with travel, hotels, meals, equipment costs, apparel and team posters our check book takes a pounding. All of our ads that we have billed out have not paid us yet, some Blue Line Club families still owe us. If you owe the Blue Line Club please get this taken care of – we don’t have the time and we shouldn’t have to chase people down. We explained the fees for the year in August and it is now mid December. If there are circumstances that we are not aware of please let me know. We want your player to receive all the benefits that the Blue Line Club can offer, but if fees aren’t paid adjustments may need to be made. For those of you that have taken care of things THANK YOU!!!!!!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS –

We have a tentative date of March 11^th for the year end banquet. Once again the plan is to hold the banquet at Northwestern College.

KEEP TAKING PHOTOS AND VIDEO –

Many of you were snapping pictures and taking video at our games over the weekend --- please keep it up! We’ll need this for our year end video. If you have pictures or video that we may use for our video please get them to Kathy Jereczek.
