Our Pancake Breakfast at Moe’s was a SMASHING SUCCESS!
Here are some numbers:
After expenses of $800 for Moe’s, gratuity and beverages it looks like this –
$812 – tickets purchased at the door, tips and donations
$1204 – Tickets pre-sold
$278 – Meat raffle
$1450.50 Silent Auction
$3744.50
$800 – expenses
$2944.50 – Profit!!!!
Considering the cold weather we had a great turnout. Parents, please thank your player for pulling themselves out of bed on Saturday morning and helping to make the breakfast a success. Our SILENT AUCTION was unbelievable! We had numerous bids on all items and everyone one that took a look at our auction was impressed with what they saw. Special Thanks again to Judy Marchiafava and Deb Kordiak for all the work you did putting the auction together. To everyone that helped out on Saturday and for all the donations that you contributed to our auction – THANK YOU!!!!
WHO ARE THOSE GUYS?
Congratulations to the KNIGHTS Varsity team on the 3 wins they had last week and kept their undefeated streak alive for 2008. The boys have a tough one this Friday as they take on benilde at the St. Louis Park rink. JV will start at 5 and Varsity at 7.
WE’RE THINKING OF YOU –
As most of you know, one of our KNIGHTS family members -- Pat O’Connor just went through a major surgery. The Blue Line Club delivered a basket to Pat and the O’Connors and the report is her spirits are great. Please keep the entire O’Connor family in your thoughts and prayers.
