Home Game Volunteer Assignments
The Blue Line Club is paid $225 by the SuperRink for providing volunteers at the Knights Home Games. The $225 includes both the JV and Varsity games combined.
With our vast experience, this is a very simple way to keep our costs down. Please consider volunteering for one of the following positions:
Ticket Sales: need 2 volunteers
Penalty Box: need 2 volunteers
Timekeeper (Clock): need 1 volunteer
Chuck-A-Puck: optional volunteer position - see below for details
The Home Game Volunteers are listed on the Master Schedule. To see who is scheduled for a game, go to the Master Schedule and click on the plus sign to the left of the game. You will see all the details for that particular game.
Too see what positions are still available, click on the link below to see an overall listing titled Home Volunteer Assignments.
It is available in the Documents Section off the home page. (Updated 01/11/10).
To make a reservation for a position, click on the Feedback button off the home page and state your name, the date of the game, JV or Varsity or both, and the position you seek. You will receive an email upon confirmation and a reminder notice 2 nights prior to the event.

Chuck-A-Puck
The Blue Line Club decided at the December 1 2008 meeting to suspend Chuck-A-Puck at the games unless a parent wishes to run it. If someone wishes to step forward and take on the Chuck-A-Puck duties, here is what is expected of that person during a home game:
- Procure a bucket of pucks and have them numbered.
- Prepare the table for sales - have a sheet ready, pens, cash for change, and a signup sheet
- Man the Chuck-A-Puck table from the 3rd period of the JV game through the 2nd period of the Varsity game
- Find other volunteers (kids/helmets or other adults) to go out onto the ice during 2nd intermission
- Coordinate the event with the announcer or do the announcing yourself
- Run the event
- Pay the winner and document the collections/payout
- Give documentation/winnings to BLC Treasurer
- Keep pucks for next season.
If you would like to take on the Chuck-A-Puck for a home game or for all of them, go to Contacts page, and click on Blue Line Club to send them an email.
