BLC meeting on Monday 12/15 - Random Park 7-9pm:
Tournament planning: Dec 29 - 31
Pancake Breakfast & Silent Auction: Jan 17 @ Moe's
Budget review
Please attend if you're able to participate in planning these two events.
Program books and booster club fee:
Hope you received a program book at our 1st home game last Tuesday. If your player is returning next year, be sure to keep a book to use as a reference and guide for selling ads next season! Thanks to everyone for making this a success.
-
Each rostered player is asked to pay a $250 booster club fee, and selling ads defrays this cost. If your player did not sell a total of $250 in ads, and you have not already made the payment difference, please take care of that. Checks can be written to Irondale Blue Line Club and submitted to Denise Studer. Reminder notes willl also be sent out in the next week or so.
This year, we plan to recognize our sponsors on our website. Next season, we'd like to 'sell' that online advertising space. If you have thoughts or ideas on this, please see Torri Johnson or Patty Fredberg.
BINGO prize donations (for player BINGO event in Virginia):
... from Lynne Lark...
I am looking for donations from the parents ranging from .50 - $5.00 some ideas include candy bars, sports drinks, sunflower seeds, playing cards, Nerf balls, etc.
You can hand off the prizes to me or my husband (Dave) we should be at all of the games other wise you can drop them by our house <address deleted for security reasons-check original email> If you want to donate cash that works too, I can go and purchase them when I buy mine.
I will need all donations by Saturday Dec. 27th
Silent Auction donations (for January Pancake Breakfast):
We are seeking donated 'items' to be included in our Silent Auction which will be held during the January Pancake breakfast. Variety keeps these things interesing! Be creative and look for those post Christmas sales. More information to follow.
Pasta Feeds (happening now!):
Please consider hosting a pasta feed for the players. They truly enjoy and appreciate this fun team get-together. Judy and Tony provided a great demonstration on how easy this can be. (Except the boys won't stick around the house as long as their parents did !!) Contact Judy Marchiafava to reserve a date (typically the night before games)
