Summer Hockey Program Scrimmage News

We have a scrimmage set up for the July 23rd and 24th.  We will  be playing Champlin Park.  The white team will play on Wednesday, July 23rd at the Super Rink from 7:50am-8:50am, and the red team will play Thursday, July 24th in Champlin from 5:30pm -6:45pm.   Your son should know which team they are on.

Summer Hockey Program Fishing Trip

There will be a end of the camp fishing tournament.  The boys wanted to do something at the end of the summer, and they wanted to have a fishing tournament.  The date is Friday Aug. 1.  We are planning on using the Launches on Mille Lacs.   We will meet at the SuperRink at 6:00 am, fish for a few hours, eat any fish that we would catch, or grill burgers and hot dogs at Coach Madison's cabin.  Coach Madison's cabin is located on Borden Lake.  After we eat, we will head for home.   The launches will provide everything , fishing rods, bait, and a pontoon to fish from.  The cost will be about $30-$40. More details will be sent out soon.

2007-2008 Banquet Awards

CONGRATULATIONS to hockey captain Andy Richardson who signed with the University of Minnesota where he will continue with his outstanding track performances.

CONGRATULATIONS to Travis Baker who broke Irondale's Most all-time career goals record of 80 goals previously held by Scott Bjugstad (1977-1979), and Most all-time career points record of 149 points previously held by John Bader (1978-1980).  Travis is currently at 90 goals-79 assists-169 career points.

Irondale High School is located in New Brighton, Minnesota, a suburb of the city of St. Paul.  Irondale is one of two high schools in the Mounds View School District, ISD 621.  St. Anthony Village High School in St. Anthony, Minnesota and is in the New Brighton/St. Anthony School District, ISD 282.
