Amanda DeKanick
Luke Marchiafava
Vili Paraskov
Congratulations!!
These scholarships are awarded to seniors that have played youth hockey in the past--for either Irondale or Mounds View. They write an essay about the impact of Youth Hockey on their lives. The Board of Directors review the essays, and rank them. We give what funds we have available for college scholarships. They scholarships are then awarded to the seniors during their school Senior Recognition events.

posted 03/11/2009 Jeff Martin Health & Sport Inc Summer Hockey Program announced.
The focus on this hockey program will be to improve skating, shooting, passing and stick handling. Every day players will participate in power skating, skill development drills, and scrimmage/games. The ice will be on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The program will include dry land training, ice time, and cover the on ice systems that the Knights Hockey team will plan on using in the upcoming 2009-2010 hockey season.
Why should I choose this program?
All other major hockey programs have a similar program set up. Unlike summer hockey leagues that just play games, this program will help develop the individual skills of each player, and will also provide an opportunity to play and compete with players that they will play with next season. The goal is to improve as an individual, but also to gain greater team unity and to improve as a team.
How much will this cost?
$310 per player. Payment information is in the Documents section.
How do I register and where do I get more information?
There are 3 documents available in theDocuments section on the left hand side of the home page

Two nights after Little Falls senior Ben Hanowski surpassed former Duluth East star Dave Spehar's state career goal-scoring record, Joey Benik of St. Francis seemed all but assured of at least tying the state mark for goals in a season.
Of course, Irondale, the Saints' opponent Saturday night, had something to say about Benik's quest. In a word: No.
Irondale and backup goaltender Luke Marchiafava held Benik, who has an astounding 12 hat tricks this season, to a single goal in the Knights' 5-1 triumph. Marchiafava, a senior, gave the huge crowd a performance to remember by turning aside 24 shots.
Benik's goal gives him 61 for the season, one off the record 62 scored by Jared Festler of Little Falls during the 2006-07 season. A junior who last weekend committed early to play at St. Cloud State, had scored 27 goals in the Saints' previous eight games. Six times this season he has scored five goals in game. One of those five-goal outings came against Irondale on Jan. 13 in a 7-4 St. Francis triumph.
Benik takes his next shot at the record on Tuesday when St. Francis plays Benilde-St. Margaret's in a 7 p.m. game at the St. Louis Park Recreation Center.

by Torri Johnson posted 12/03/2008 Pointstreak will be used by the Minnesota State High School League to record scores and track statistics during the 2008-2009 season. This is for both Varsity and JV games.
A direct link to Pointstreak is at the top of this page. You can view the data in many different ways and the data is managed by Pointstreak, not by this website nor Irondale personnel.
This website also has the ability to track stats and we are going to use the website for our own internal tracking. We will try to keep it as close to official as possible, but there may be times when the team wants something updated that is not official, but they would like to see it changed in an unofficial forum. The website stats is a good place to do that.
To see the website stats, go to Our Teams across the top bar. Choose the Boys High School League and choose the team. Click on Statistics along the left hand side.
The website stats are not official and should not be used for any official business. It is for the team's own internal use.
